Ensure you are scanning the QR code printed on an official Aadhaar card issued by UIDAI. QR codes from other documents (PAN, Voter ID, etc.) are not supported.
Not all Aadhaar cards include every field. For example, older cards may only contain the year of birth rather than a full date, or may omit certain address components. This is normal and reflects the data stored in the QR code itself.
Make sure the image is clear, not heavily compressed, and that the QR code is fully visible and not cropped. Very small or low-resolution images may fail to decode.
We are working on a Card Verification feature that will let you compare the information visually printed on the physical card against the data encoded in the QR code — helping you quickly detect any mismatch. Stay tuned for updates.
